We completed our first YouTube video last night, Squam Lake Inn’s Perfect Day!  It is a collection of photographs we have taken on and around Squam Lake over the past 8 years.  Making the video was a blast, it was so much fun reliving the days.  Of course, summer can’t get here quick enough now! Last week our arugula was used extensively on our menu items.  I think it is so cool to step out the kitchen door and grab a handful of herbs for an omelette.   Our guests enjoyed a breakfast this morning with a variety of herbs and greens 100% from our garden.  Our lettuce will be harvested this week and utilized in our tasty salads.

Over the past 6 months we have had experiences that have prompted us to say, “that would be great for the blog!”  There is a lot to share as we are always shaking things up!  Our  lives of innkeepers, retailers and restaurateurs can be entertaining!  Many are envious, but most just think we are nuts!
