My name is Molly Becker and I have been part of the Squam Lake Inn Crew since 2007. I do everything here at the Inn from taking reservations, preparing the rooms for our guests and waitressing in our wonderful cafe. I look forward to the season because of the delicious food on our menus, from breakfast to dinner. My favorite breakfast is the French Toast with orange cream filling and Pepper bacon! We serve it with NH maple syrup and it is yummy! I enjoy the food so much that it makes me proud to serve it! I enjoy the people that visit the inn and all it has to offer!
Hi My name is Taylor and I'm the innkeeper's daughter, so basically I'm second in command. Not really, but I have literally done everything one could possibly do at the Inn from housekeeping, painting guest rooms, washing dishes, delivering furniture purchased at the Red Barn, making DELICIOUS salads and sandwiches at our Lunch Cafe, to more recently being our chef's go-to-girl during dinner. There are so many things I love about the Inn...it's hard to choose just a few! I would have to say some of my favs are: the veggie Taylor-made with bacon (of course!), the coconut macaroons and the front porch on a warm summer's evening. The Inn is a super special place to myself and everyone else here, so I know you'll love it as much as we do!
I have been involved with the Squam Lake Inn doing one thing or another since it opened in 2003 and many people know me as “Rae’s Mom”. I am responsible for the bookkeeping and I work in the Red Barn, doing retail sales. The Red Barn has wonderful items and good prices. I shop there all season long because I know I can always find the perfect thing for whatever the occasion is. I also enjoy working in the kitchen. I have started culinary school this past January and look forward to using my new skills. I love being involved with all the employees and guests at the Inn. It is a "happening" place and all the locals and out of town guests really enjoy themselves when they are at the Inn. I have lived in the area for about 8 years and I feel very lucky to be here and part of this wonderful, caring community.
I have worked at the Inn for 7 happy years. Like everyone, I perform a variety of duties at the Inn. Occasionally I work in the Red Barn. Most of the time I am breakfast waitress and also help in the kitchen with dishes and help with lunch prep. My favorite duty to perform is housekeeping. I like cleaning and preparing the rooms for our guests. My favorite thing about working at the Inn is that you are part of team. It is awesome to work with people that are professional and operate like a "well oiled machine." What I mean is that everyone is so well trained in all duties that they can step in to help at any time. One of the awesome benefits of working at the Inn is sitting down with the other employees to eat. . All the food is excellent. I do especially like the dinner menu though.
Hi- I’m Connor. As one of the few male employees at the Squam Lake Inn, you could say I’m pretty memorable. One day I could be helping you with some delicious fudge at the Marketplace, and the next I will be taking your lobster BLT order at the Inn. No matter where you see me, I’m ready to brighten your day with a smile and a joke. See you soon!
Hey there! My name is Sarah. I’m the manager down at our store, the Squam Lake Marketplace, so you can see my smiling face there most days. I love making our customers’ days with yummy lattes, delicious sandwiches (my favorite’s the Turkey Havarti), and helping someone find the perfect New Hampshire keepsake. Hope to see you soon!
I’m a retired school teacher now but I worked at the Squam Lake for over 6 years. I love working at the Squam Lake MarketPlace because the people are so nice here - the people I work with and our customers! I live in Holderness now full time after summering here and working the school year in Massachusetts. You can find me at the store working the deli counter or stocking the shelves. My love for Squam is huge and I have spent a lot of time on the lake. If you want to know where to find a good fishing spot just come on by and ask me!
Currently I am the kitchen manager at the Squam Lake MarketPlace and I am also a full time student at Plymouth State University studying math and business. I spend most of my summer creating healthy, fresh and eye appealing food for the marketplace which is something I truly enjoy. I’m willing to make our customers just about anything so come check us out, I’ll be in the kitchen!
