Did you know that the world’s oldest motorcycle rally occurs just a short cruise down the road from the Squam Lake Inn in Laconia, NH. Each June, Laconia Bike Week kicks off its annual event. As long as we have been in business, the inn and our on-site restaurant Inn Kitchen + Bar have been welcoming riders looking for a more laid-back, peaceful alternative to the crowds and noise down the road in Laconia.
The weekend begins with an all-day charity bike ride and there are amazing events happening for the next eight days. There are certainly events and attractions for every taste, including stunt shows, live demos, group rides, live music, a pool tournament, swap meet, and parades. Live music at the nearby Weirs Beach Drive-In Theatre features some fantastic acts every night and is a favorite for bike week attendees. You can read more about the full event schedule Here.
Our location puts you in the perfect spot with some peace and quiet in the evening, but a short (and gorgeous) ride to all of the events and action of bike week; The ideal place for the couple who loves to ride, but enjoys ending the day in a little more laid back atmosphere with the best food in the lakes region! Nothing is more perfect than starting your day with a homemade breakfast before heading down the road through Meredith and alongside Lake Winnipesaukee for all the fun of Motorcycle Week.
If your ride brings you back to Holderness during the day, make sure to pull into the parking lot of the nearby Squam Lake MarketPlace for delicious made-to-order sandwiches, ice cream, specialty coffees, and an amazing selection of cold craft beer.
At night, make sure you grab a meal at Inn Kitchen + Bar (Open Wednesday-Sunday) our on-site restaurant featuring craft beers, innovative cocktails, and a curated wine list alongside crowd favorites like our 50/50 burger, sautéed scallops, fried chicken, baby back ribs, and indulgent desserts including our signature homemade ice cream sandwiches. From there, you are steps away from the splendor of your comfy room.
